New to Crowd Control? Check out the
1. Start with the App
Open Crowd Control Desktop App
Select Super Mario World from the game list
Follow the Auto Setup checklist (right side of app)
2. ROM Requirements
Must be the USA SNES version, unheadered with MD5:
After setup, you’ll see “Crowd Control” on the title screen.
If you get a black screen, you’re using the wrong ROM.
3. (Optional) ROM Hacks or Randomizer
Supported Randomizer: SMW Randomizer
ROM Hack Compatibility: View supported hacks
Found a hack not listed? Please submit it.
4. (Optional) Hardware
In the app, under Connector, select Hardware
Follow our Hardware Setup Guide
FX Pak Pro or SD2SNES
5. Test Before You Stream
You can only test effects after pressing “Start Session” in the Crowd Control app
Always test a few effects before going live to confirm effects trigger as expected
Skipping this step can lead to broken streams and confusion!
