1. Start with the App
- Open Crowd Control Desktop App
- Select Super Mario 64 from the game list
- Select [v0.5 Support] or [v1.1.2 Support]
- Follow the Auto Setup checklist (right side of app)
Each item will guide you through required steps.
2. ROM Requirements
- Grab the select version from ROMHACKING.com
- Find more info from the SM64 Randomizer Discord
- Game save A is required and only supported.
3. Test Before You Stream
- You can only test effects after pressing “Start Session” in the Crowd Control app
- Always test a few effects before going live to confirm effects trigger as expected
Skipping this step can lead to broken streams and confusion!
4. Adjust Emulator Settings
We recommend following the Bizhawk and OOTR guide on controller setup , video setup and other options .
Common Issues
Effects Queue – Make sure you are in Save A!
