Disable Legacy Mode
May 16th, 2023
Crowd Control now supports the latest version of Subnautica! If you previously setup CC to use the “Legacy” build, you will need to revert that change.
From Steam: Right click Subnautica > Properties. Find the BETAS tab > From the drop down, select: “none”. Once the game is updated, proceed as normal with the One Click Setup or Manual Setup below!
Manual Setup
- Download the latest files here! This includes all the files required and mentioned in the “credits” below.
- Extract the contents of the package to your game install directory.
If the mod was installed correctly, you should see this in the bottom right corner of the game, which will show effects!
Gameplay Support
Since this is based on a viewer interaction mod, there are a few extra settings that can be edited. In the in game menu, go to Mods. You can also look at the NexusMod link below for more info. If you are looking for cool downs, scaling and more advanced price editing, make sure to check out the “Advanced Mode” on our price page: https://crowdcontrol.live/item-pricing/Subnautica
Softlocked?
In most cases, saving and quitting will resolves most issues. Same should be true for the “RIP Riley” and “Go back home” effects.
Overlay:
Since the mod has some built in timers, our normal overlay works best when split. We recommend duplicating the browser source and cropping it up so the bottom left and top right are only shown. This will show past activated effects and currently queued effects, leaving the mod to display current timers.
