Getting Started
New to Crowd Control? Check out the
Setup
We suggest using the Crowd Control Desktop app to install our mod!
Select “Sons Of The Forest” from the CC desktop app.
We have 3 different options depending on how you want to player. See below for the difference!
Install the mod using our desktop app.
Launch the game using the CC desktop app.
Press START and test effects!

Multiplayer(Peer-to-Peer) & Dedicated Servers
For now we have split the pack into a few different builds for less confusion on setup.
Make sure all users have the mod installed!
People who are not streaming do not need the CC app.
Some effect will not work in Multiplayer/Dedicated Server, so we have disabled these for you automatically:
All Teleport effects
Spawn effects
Mods
Our pack was made using RedLoader, so it should play along with other mods. If you notice some mods do not work, let us know!
Game Version
Our support has been tested with the Steam version of the game. Other game stores may work but have not been tested.
Looking for another game store? Submit a request to our Discord, #cc-requests.
Uninstall
To uninstall the Crowd Control mod:
From the CC desktop app, select your game.
Click the trash icon 🗑️ next to “Mod Installed” to run the uninstaller.
This only works if you previously used “Skip Mod Manager”.
