1. Start with the App

• Open Crowd Control Desktop App

• Select Sonic Mania from the game list

• Follow the Auto Setup checklist (left side of app)

• Launch Game will open the Mod Manager

• Make sure “Chat Vs Sonic Mania – Crowd Control” is checked

• Save & Play from the Mania Mod Manager!

2. Test Before You Stream

• You can only test effects after pressing “Start Session” in the Crowd Control app

• Always test a few effects before going live to confirm effects trigger as expected

Skipping this step can lead to broken streams and confusion!

Notes

• This mod does not work with any other version of the game besides Steam! That means no Epic or Origin game store support

• Other mods may work, but are not completely supported.

• CodenameGamma suggests the following settings in the “Codes” tab of the manager:

• Debug Mode (in case you get stuck)

• Infinite Lives

• Disable Background Pausing

Uninstall

To uninstall the Crowd Control mod:

1. From the CC desktop app, select your game.

2. Click the trash icon 🗑️ next to “Mod Installed” to run the uninstaller.
