1. Start with the App
This game is in Early Access and requires CC Pro!
- Open Crowd Control Desktop App
- Select Retro Rewind from the game list
- Follow the Auto Setup checklist (left side of app)
2. Test Before You Stream
- You can only test effects after pressing “Start Session” in the Crowd Control app
- Always test a few effects before going live to confirm effects trigger as expected
Skipping this step can lead to broken streams and confusion!
Mod Compatibility
- Our mod was made using the UE4SS.
- Other mods may work, but have not been tested with Crowd Control.
- If you have issues, try with just Crowd Control.
No mod conflicts reported so far!
- If you find a mod that causes issues, let us know!
Troubleshooting
If effects are not triggering but you are able to start a session, please try running the Crowd Control application as Administrator and be sure to launch the game from Crowd Control.
If you experience any crashes, please open a support ticket and include the CC-Audit.log file found in the path located at RetroRewind\Binaries\Win64 inside of the games install folder. Or to easier access this file click the Log icon next to the Pack Loaded option in the checklist and follow the instructions from there.
Please be sure to send this log file or make a copy before opening the game again, as it will be overwritten on the next launch of the game. Thanks for helping improve Crowd Control!
Game Version
Our support has been tested with the Steam version of the game. Other game stores may work but have not been tested.

Uninstall
To uninstall the Crowd Control mod:
- From the CC desktop app, select your game.
- Click the trash icon 🗑️ next to “Mod Installed” to run the uninstaller.
