You can follow the general setup guide at https://crowdcontrol.live/setup for extra help with the Twitch Extension, the Crowd Control Desktop Client and other options.

We suggest using the One Click Setup to install Bizhawk, which is found in the Crowd Control Desktop Client. Bizhawk 2.8 is required.

Early Access Support

This pack is considered Early Access! Our team has confirmed the effects are stable but may not be in every scenario, so please use the Report Bug button in the app if you find any issues!

Version Support

We support the USA/EU version of Pokemon FireRed, v 1.1 or Rev1, for the GameBoy Advanced. The base ROM should match MD5 51901a6e40661b3914aa333c802e24e8.

The game gets patched when you hit start in the CC app. You will know it’s working correctly with this special “New Game” screen:

Randomizer

We plan to support the randomizer found at https://github.com/Ajarmar/universal-pokemon-randomizer-zx. This is still in testing and has known issues!

Gameplay notes

Give Pokemon – These Pokemon are considered to be from another trainer. You can even see who gave it to you in the Pokemon Summary. Since these are from another trainer, badges will be required to control them and they will receive extra exp from battles.
