Dark Souls 3 (PC)

You can follow the general setup guide at https://crowdcontrol.live/setup for extra help with the Twitch Extension, the Crowd Control Desktop Client and other options.

Setup
- Select Dark Souls from the CC desktop app.
- Use the CC Desktop app to install our mod.
- Launch the game using the CC desktop app.
- Press START and test effects using the Effect Manager!
Game Saves
Make sure to Quit using the in game menu! Forcing the game closed will lose save progress while offline!
Normally your saves are at %appdata%\DarkSoulsIII but while the CC mod is in place, your CC modified saves will be at %appdata%\DarkSoulsIIICrowdControl
Restore saves and go back online
We install a mod into the base of the game install to disable online play. Remove the file to restore your old saves files and go back online!
In the Steam Library, Right Click your game > Manager > Browse Local Files…
this will open the path to the game. Delete the follow files:
DARK SOULS III\Game\dinput8.dll
DARK SOULS III\Game\modengine.ini
DARK SOULS III\Game\ccverHold ALT + Click on “Mod Installed” to uninstall the above files, from our desktop app!
Mod Support
It is very unlikely that other mods will work with our pack!
