Dark Souls (PC)

Setup

• Select Dark Souls Remastered or Prepare to Die from the CC desktop app.
• Launch the game using the CC desktop app!

Prepare to Die Edition Limited Support

We have been noticing that PtD edition of Dark Souls may not longer have the same full support as the Remastered edition. Some effects like “Roll Credits” do not work.

We highly suggest upgrading to Remastered!

Restore saves and go back online

We install a mod into the base of the game install to disable online play. Remove the file to restore your old saves files and go back online!

In the Steam Library, Right Click your game > Manager > Browse Local Files…
this will open the path to the game. Delete the follow files:

• DARK SOULS REMASTERED\dinput8.dll
• DARK SOULS REMASTERED\ccver
