Select Dark Souls from the CC desktop app.
Launch the game using the CC desktop app!
Restore saves and go back online
We install a mod into the base of the game install to disable online play. Remove the file to restore your old saves files and go back online!
This change if for your protection to prevent your account and saves from being modified in a way to get you banned when going online. Your original saves will be preserved, but you will not be able to use the Crowd Control saves without the Crowd Control mod, which will continue to block online.
In the Steam Library, Right Click your game > Manager > Browse Local Files…
this will open the path to the game. Delete the follow files:
Hold ALT + Click on “Mod Installed” to uninstall the above files, from our desktop app!
We do not remove the saves created by Crowd Control when you uninstall the mod, however you cannot use the saves you had with Crowd Control without our mod. If you do, your account will get banned on the From Software servers.
