WARNING! The latest version of Among Us is not compatible with our server. On Steam, you can use the “public-previous” beta branch to connect!

Find Among Us in your Steam Library.
Right click the game and go to Properties.
Select the BETAS tab and change to public-previous.

Steam Setup

You must start the game at least once before proceeding!

1. Select Among Us (PC) from the Crowd Control desktop app.
2. Use the One Click Setup to add our server to your config.
3. Continue to the “Connect to Crowd Control” section.

Non-steam users, see the “Manual Setup” below to add our server to your config.

Manual Setup

You must start the game at least once before proceeding!

Use this setup if you do not have the game from Steam.

1. Use this site to create a config with server amongus.crowdcontrol.live: Impostor | Among Us Private Server
2. Follow the steps listed on that site to add our server to your Among Us config.
3. Continue to the “Connect to Crowd Control” section, but you will need to launch the game manually instead of using the Launch Game button.

Connect to Crowd Control

If you are hosting:

• Press Launch Game to start Among Us and create a game!

1. Click ONLINE
2. Click the bottom left “World” icon
3. Select “Crowd Control”
4. Create a game!
5. Check the in game chat for a message containing the “CrowdControl password”.
6. Keep this password secret! A new password will generate each time a new Among Us game is created. If this is shows up as censored with **** in the middle, make sure to disable chat censoring or create a new lobby.

• Connect to Crowd Control.

1. Back in the CC app, press Start.
2. Enter your secret CrowdControl password!

If you are joining:

• Press Launch Game to start Among Us and join a game!

1. Click ONLINE
2. Click the bottom left “World” icon
3. Select “Crowd Control” under PRIVATE
4. Enter the host code.

Connection Notes

At this time, only one streamer can have an active Crowd Control Among Us session per game. The “Crowd Control password” given to the host can only be used for one active session.

Gameplay notes

All effects are global, meaning they happen to everyone equally!

Multiple effects also have price scaling enabled by default, if you wish to adjust this just click Advanced under the pricing menu to update the values.

Sessions are mainly treated as a “Play with chat” setup, meaning 1 streamer with non-streamers joining. If you are looking for all members of the lobby to be streamers, that is something we can look into adding. As always, reach out to our Discord for feature request! https://discord.warp.world
