Crowd Control Plan Updates – What’s Changing on May 1st, 2025
Crowd Control has grown into a platform that empowers over 80,000 streamers, giving their communities new ways to interact with their favorite games. As we continue to evolve, we must make adjustments to sustain our services, improve features, and support our small but dedicated team.
On May 1st, 2025, we are officially launching our TikTok interaction features. These tools have been in a silent beta while we observed how streamers used them and gathered feedback from the community.
Based on what we’ve learned, we’re introducing a new premium tier—Crowd Control Max—and making updates to the existing Crowd Control Pro plan to reflect a more sustainable structure for supporting these now fully released tools.
These updates help us continue supporting a growing platform, expand integrations, and give creators more flexibility based on their streaming needs.
What’s Changing?
Changes to Crowd Control Pro ($7.99/month)
- TikTok Likes, Shares, and Follows will move to the new Crowd Control Max plan. However, existing Pro users with a linked TikTok account before May 1st will retain access to these features for as long as their subscription remains active.
- TikTok Gift limits per game will be capped at 12 gifts per game.
- Plus, all existing Crowd Control Pro features.
Pro remains a powerful and affordable option for most streamers. For the majority of users, Pro offers everything needed to run an engaging, interactive stream.
New: Crowd Control Max ($19.99/month)
- Unlimited Twitch Channel Point-to-Effect rewards
- Unlimited Channel Point Conversion Redeems (no new conversions yet, but this plan removes limitations for future updates)
- Unlimited Effect triggers from TikTok Gifts, Likes and Follows
- Expanded Twitch integrations such as follow, sub, and raid-based effects and advanced channel point options
- Plus, all existing Crowd Control Pro features.
This plan is ideal for streamers who want more from TikTok or Twitch and are ready to push interactivity to, quite literally, the max.
TikTok System Updates
As part of the official TikTok feature launch, we are removing the Diamond System, eliminating upfront payments entirely. TikTok gift usage will now depend on your subscription plan:
- Free Plan: 5 gift effects per game
- Pro Plan: 12 gift effects per game
- Max Plan: Unlimited gift effects per game
This updated system is more straightforward and scales with your needs as a creator.
Why These Changes?
Since introducing TikTok interactions in closed beta, we’ve been working closely with our community to see what works, what doesn’t, and how we can better support creators using these tools. As we transition out of beta, we’re formalizing the TikTok experience into something more sustainable, reliable, and scalable.
Crowd Control Pro remains the right fit for the majority of our users. But for those who want to do more—especially with TikTok and Twitch channel points—Crowd Control Max provides a premium option without locking core features behind an expensive paywall.
We are still a small, independent team supporting over 80,000 streamers. These changes help us maintain the quality of service you expect while continuing to build the future of interactive streaming.
FAQ – Subscription Plan Changes
The new plans will go live on May 1st, 2025.
If you are a current Pro user with a linked TikTok account before May 1st, 2025, you will retain TikTok Likes, Shares, and Follows as part of your Pro plan for as long as your subscription remains active.
The Diamond System is being removed, eliminating the need for upfront payments. Instead, how many gifts you can have tied to effects will now be based on your subscription tier.
- Free Users: 5 gifts per game
- Pro Users: 12 gifts per game
- MAX Users: Unlimited gifts per game
These features were part of our beta phase. With the official launch, we’re introducing a system based on what streamers told us they need. Moving advanced TikTok features to Max allows us to maintain and grow this system responsibly.
Our competitors offer similar “Max” tiers at a higher price than Crowd Control Max ($19.99).
Crowd Control provides additional flexibility and feature depth at a more affordable rate.
