Account Already Linked
It seems that the account you’re trying to link (e.g., TikTok) is already connected to another Crowd Control account. This can happen if you’ve linked your account to another account, such as one registered with Twitch or another platform.
What You Can Do
Option 1: Recover the Original Account
If you remember the Crowd Control account where this account is already linked, you can:
- Log in to that original account.
- Go to Integrations and unlink the account from there.
- Log back into your current account and link the account here.
Option 2: Contact Support
If you no longer have access to the original Crowd Control account or don’t remember which account has this account linked:
- Please reach out to our support team on Discord.
- Provide as much information as possible (e.g., the username or email associated with the original account).
Why Does This Happen?
Crowd Control prevents the same account (e.g., TikTok, YouTube) from being linked to multiple Crowd Control accounts to ensure your accounts remain secure and organized. This helps avoid confusion and keeps all your platform accounts properly connected.
In the future we plan to support linking of primary accounts such as Twitch, YouTube and Discord but for now those accounts cannot be linked.
