Crowd Control Setup Guides

1. Start with the App

• Download the Crowd Control desktop app and sign in.

• Voices of the Void is a free game on itch.io. Install it from mrdrnose.itch.io/votv.

• The official YeetPatch launcher is recommended. It can install any released version and backs up your saves.

• Install game version alpha 0.9.0n. This is the version the pack is tested against.

• When the app asks for the game folder, select the folder that contains the WindowsNoEditor folder.

• Open the Voices of the Void game page in the app and follow the Auto Setup checklist. It installs the UE4SS mod package for you.

2. Test Before You Stream

• Press Start Session in the app, then launch the game through YeetPatch.

• The mod connects on port 51338. The first launch can take a little longer while UE4SS initializes.

• Test at least one effect before going live. Points Grant is a safe first test.

• Effects only trigger while you are inside a world. They will not fire from the main menu.

Mod Compatibility

• The mod runs on UE4SS, which is included in our mod package.

• The developer officially tolerates modding. See votv.dev for the Mods page and the Modding Discord.

• Other UE4SS mods can conflict with the Crowd Control mod. Run combined mods at your own risk.

Game Version

• Tested on alpha 0.9.0n (itch.io, installed via YeetPatch).

• Game updates can break the mod. If a new version drops and effects stop working, tell us in the Crowd Control Discord.

Uninstall

• Use the trash icon in the Crowd Control app to remove the mod.
