TikTok Event Trigger Setup

You can follow the general setup guide at https://crowdcontrol.live/setup for extra help with the Twitch Extension, the Crowd Control Desktop Client and other options.

Setup
- Log in or link your TikTok.
- If this is your fist time using Crowd Control, login with your TikTok from the CC Desktop app!
- If you have used Crowd Control before, link your TikTok by logging in using your normal account and head to Manage Profile (in the top left) to link!
- Pick a game to play and set it up.
- Every game has a setup check list and guide. Let us know if you need help setting up a game in our Discord!
- Always test effects before going live!
- Press Start Session and use the Effect List in the CC desktop app.
- These effects are free for the streamer!
- Attach Crowd Control Effects to a TikTok Gift.
- Once you have a game setup, use the Effect Manager to setup TikTok Triggers.
- When someone sends a TikTok Gift to your stream that matches this trigger, the effect will activate!
- Add the Crowd Control TikTok Gift Overlay to your steam!
- In the CC Desktop App, select Overlay & Assets, select the TikTok Overlay tab.
- Click the green copy icon to add your unique link to your clipboard.
- Paste this link into your streaming software as a browser source.
- This will list the Triggers you have setup for your current active game!
- If you don’t see gifts, make sure you have Triggers set and press Start Session!
- Start your session and Connect!
- Go live on TikTok!
- Press Start Session, from the Live tab.
- You may already have a session started from testing!
- Press Connect, from the Live tab.
FAQ
These are some common errors or warnings we might give during setup. If you have any issues beyond these steps, please reach out to support via discord!
- Why didn’t all the TikTok effects show up in my game?
- We’ve built in a lot of checks to make sure effects actually work and don’t break your game. If viewers try to trigger effects too quickly or all at once, not all of them will make it through.
- We recommend encouraging your community to pace their gifts or to setup triggers that have a bigger impact. This gives everyone a better experience and ensures more effects land as expected.
- This is a current known limitation in Crowd Control and something we are hoping to improve soon.
- “We are unable to fetch your available TikTok Gifts.”, from the Effect Manager.
- You may have logged in with a TikTok account does not meetthe requirements to go live, so we are unable to get your gift list.
- “We were unable to get your available TikTok Gifts.”, when pressing Connect.
- Make sure you are live on TikTok.
- Make sure its the same account as the one you logged in with or linked!
- “Unable to link to account with game session history.”, when trying to link.
- This means the account is unable to be linked automatically, since it has some past activity.
- We can merge your accounts manually but may need to wipe data to complete this. Please contact us!
- Our TikTok Support is free for all users but gets even better when you go Pro!
- Free plan: 5 TikTok Triggers per game.
- Pro Plan: 12 TikTok Triggers per game.
- Max Plan: Unlimited TikTok Triggers per game + Follow, Like & Share triggers.

- Crowd Control TikTok Triggers are set per game.
- For example, a Rose 🌹 set to Spawn Bee 🐝 can trigger endless times.
- Crowd Control TikTok beta users, thanks for helping us test!
- Closed May 1st, 2025.
- TikTok beta users who previously had Pro, get Follow, Like & Share triggers in their Pro plan!
- If you cancel your Pro plan, these “legacy” bonuses will be lost.
- TikTok beta users who previously had a diamond balance will have the value of the remaining balance converted into Global Coins.
