Guide
Streamer.bot
Two integrations are available between Streamer.bot and Crowd Control: Streamer.bot Actions and Crowd Control Triggers.
Streamer.bot Actions
Within the Crowd Control app you can create custom effects that trigger actions in your Streamer.bot instance.
Setup
In the Streamer.bot app:
- Select “Servers/Clients” on the left sidebar
- Select “WebSocket Server”
- Enable “Auto Start”
- Select “Start Server”
Then, in the Crowd Control app:
- Select “Integrations” on the left sidebar
- Add or edit the Streamer.bot integration
- (Optional) Specify a custom URL or password
- You should now see “The server is currently connected”
Finally, you can create the custom effects in the Crowd Control app:
- Select “Integrations” on the left sidebar
- (Recommended) Create a new Disrupt pack for your Streamer.bot effects
- Select “Import from Integrations” to bulk-import Actions as Custom Disrupts
- If you don’t see the button next to Add New, either the app was unable to connect to Streamer.bot or no Actions could be detected on Streamer.bot
- OR select “Add New” then “Streamer.bot Action”
- If you don’t see “Streamer.bot Action” refer to the previous note
You’re now set up to receive custom Streamer.bot effects! Note that the setup is for your local PC; if you open the Crowd Control app on another PC the effects will not work unless you setup the integration again.
Crowd Control Triggers
Within the Streamer.bot app you can add Triggers for events from Crowd Control, including coin exchanges, effect requests, etc. For more information, see the official guide here. Note when setting up the integration that you need to use the Legacy Effects Overlay URL.
