Getting Started

or check our

1. Start with the App

  • Install Satisfactory Mod Manager from ficsit.app

  • In the mod manager, search for and install the Crowd Control mod. It installs Satisfactory Mod Loader (SML) for you.

  • Open the Crowd Control Desktop App

  • Select Satisfactory from the game list

2. Test Before You Stream

  • Effects can only be tested after pressing "Start Session" in the app

  • Always test a few effects before going live

  • Skipping this can lead to broken streams and confusion!

Mod Compatibility

  • Our mod requires Satisfactory Mod Loader (SML) 3.12. The mod manager installs it automatically.

  • Other mods generally work alongside Crowd Control

  • Multiplayer works for the host of a session. Joining clients see an unsupported-mode message instead of effects.

  • Dedicated servers are not supported

Game Version

  • Tested with Satisfactory 1.2 (CL 502094) on Steam and Epic

  • Works on Windows in single player or as the host of a multiplayer session

  • Want another setup supported? Submit a request in our Discord, #cc-requests

Notes

  • The mod connects on port 58430. The defaults work with the Crowd Control app out of the box.

  • Timed effects pause while the game is paused, loading, or on the title screen. Everything is restored when they end.

  • Stop All restores every active effect.

Uninstall

  • Open Satisfactory Mod Manager

  • Remove the Crowd Control mod, or toggle Mods off
