MAR 13 2026: A recent game update has caused non-host effects to no longer work in multiplayer. We are working on a fix, but in the meantime, only the host will be able to use effects in multiplayer sessions. We apologize for the inconvenience.

1. Start with the App

• Open Crowd Control Desktop App

• Select RV There Yet? from the game list

• Follow the Auto Setup checklist (left side of app)

2. Test Before You Stream

• You can only test effects after pressing “Start Session” in the Crowd Control app

• Always test a few effects before going live to confirm effects trigger as expected

Skipping this step can lead to broken streams and confusion!

Multiplayer

Our mod works while in Multiplayer!

• The host needs the mod installed

• Non-host players also need the mod installed

Mod Compatibility

• Our mod was made using the UE4SS.

• Other mods may work, but have not been tested with Crowd Control.

• If you have issues, try with just Crowd Control.

No mod conflicts reported so far!

• If you find a mod that causes issues, let us know!

Troubleshooting

If effects are not triggering but you are able to start a session, please try running the Crowd Control application as Administrator and be sure to launch the game from Crowd Control.

Game Version

Our support has been tested with the Steam version of the game. Other game stores may work but have not been tested.

Uninstall

To uninstall the Crowd Control mod:

• From the CC desktop app, select your game.

• Click the trash icon 🗑️ next to “Mod Installed” to run the uninstaller.
