Local Server Setup

Use local server if you plan on playing alone. This will automatically download and run a server on your local machine!

1. Open Crowd Control Desktop App

2. Select Rust from the game list

3. Follow the Auto Setup checklist (left side of app)

4. Server Type: Local

5. Click to install

• This may take several minuets to complete, based on internet speed.

• You’ll have to run this again when the game updates!

1. Launch Server

2. Launch Game and connect to server

3. Connect to Crowd Control: Follow the steps in the main guide

Local Server Admin

The local server is pre-configured by the Crowd Control team to be used by a single person on your local network and the same PC as the CC app.

• Install Path: %appdata%\CrowdControl-Apps\rust

• CC Config: %appdata%\CrowdControl-Apps\rust\oxide\config\CrowdControl.json
