Crowd Control Setup Guides
CC Setup Guides
1. Start with the App
Open Crowd Control Desktop App
Select Project Zomboid from the game list
Follow the Auto Setup checklist (left side of app)
2. Test Before You Stream
You can only test effects after pressing "Start Session" in the Crowd Control app
Always test a few effects before going live to confirm effects trigger as expected
Skipping this step can lead to broken streams and confusion!
Game Version
Our support has been tested with the latest Steam version of the game.
We also support Build 41 as a different selection.
Multiplayer / Servers
Hosting a game:
All users should have the Crowd Control mod enabled to receive effects.
Make sure to also add the Crowd Control mod to the server settings:

Dedicated Server: We have little testing with dedicated servers, however, as long as the Crowd Control Mod and Crowd Control Bridge are running on the server, it should work just like when you host.
The Crowd Control Bridge zip contains batch files for running the server with our mod loaded, but you may want to just open them to see the arguments used to load the bridge.
Mods
Other mods may work with ours, but have not been tested. If you run into any issues, try with a fresh mod setup. You may need to review logs to see if other mods may be causing issues with Crowd Control, found at %userprofile%\Zomboid\Logs
Uninstall
To uninstall the Crowd Control mod:
