1. Start with the App

This game is in Early Access and requires CC Pro to start a session! Please suggest new effect ideas to our Discord!

• Open Crowd Control Desktop App
• Select Hollow Knight: Silksong from the game list
• Follow the Auto Setup checklist (right side of app)
  • Game Pass: Game Path will typically be C:\XboxGames\Hollow Knight- Silksong
  • Steam: Game Path will be auto-selected

2. Test Before You Stream

• You can only test effects after pressing “Start Session” in the Crowd Control app
• Always test a few effects before going live to confirm effects trigger as expected

Skipping this step can lead to broken streams and confusion!

Game States

Effects will queue in certain scenarios.

• When the game is not in focus
• During the title screen
• During menus
• When nearby benches

Mod Compatibility

• Our mod is built using BepInEx 5
• Other mods may work, but have not been tested with Crowd Control.
• If you have issues, try with just Crowd Control.

No mod conflicts reported so far!
