Crowd Control Setup Guides

1. Start with the App

• Open the Crowd Control Desktop App

• Select Happy Wheels from the game list

• Follow the Auto Setup checklist (left side of the app)

2. Test Before You Stream

• Effects can only be tested after pressing "Start Session" in the app

• Always test a few effects before going live

• Skipping this can lead to broken streams and confusion!

Mod Compatibility

• Our mod uses no mod loader. It is a single script file loaded by the game itself.

• Auto Setup adds one loader line to the game's files and removes it on uninstall.

• Mod package: HappyWheels-CC.zip

• Game updates undo the loader line. Run Auto Setup again after updating the game.

• Other mods are untested with Crowd Control. If you have issues, try with just Crowd Control.

Game Version

• Tested with the Steam version of the game

• Other game stores may work but have not been tested

• Want another store supported? Submit a request in our Discord, #cc-requests

Notes

• Press F9 in-game to reconnect the mod to the Crowd Control app.

• Press F10 to toggle the on-screen effect messages.

• Press F8 to copy the mod log to the clipboard. There is no log file, so this is what support will ask for.

• Crowd Control sessions are local only. Replays, ratings, favourites, level publishing and stats are disabled while the mod is connected. Restart the game without the Crowd Control app to restore them.

Uninstall

• In the CC desktop app, select your game

• Click the trash icon next to "Mod Installed" to run the uninstaller
