Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles

Getting Started

New to Crowd Control? Check out the

or check our

1. Start with the App

  • Download the Crowd Control Desktop App and connect your Twitch account.

  • Open the app and select Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles from the game list.

  • Follow the Auto Setup checklist on the left. It installs the Crowd Control mod (winmm.dll) into the game folder for you.

  • Launch the game through Steam. Both Enhanced and Classic modes work.

2. Test Before You Stream

  • Press Start Session in the Crowd Control app.

  • Effects can only be tested after pressing Start Session.

  • Test a few effects and make sure they show up in game before going live.

Mod Compatibility

  • This pack uses a native winmm.dll proxy placed next to FFT_enhanced.exe and FFT_classic.exe. No BepInEx or other loader is needed.

  • Download the CC mod package here: https://mods.crowdcontrol.live/FinalFantasyTactics/FinalFantasyTactics-CC.zip

  • Linux and Steam Deck only: set the game launch options to WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winmm=n,b" %command%. Windows needs nothing else.

  • Other mods are untested and may not be compatible.

Game Version

  • Tested with the Steam version 1.5.2, in Enhanced and Classic modes.

  • Other stores and versions are untested. Want another version supported? Submit a request in our Discord #cc-requests channel.

  • If your version is not working, let us know at http://crowdcontrol.live/help

Notes

  • Effects only fire during a battle, on a unit turn. On the title screen, world map, story scenes, the formation screen, or while paused, Crowd Control holds them and retries.

  • Party and enemy effects are listed under each unit real name. Units a battle story protects never get effects that could not work on them, such as Kill or Charm.

  • Press F8 in game to hide or show the Crowd Control overlay.

  • Timed effects pause while the game is paused or in the background. When a battle ends, or Crowd Control disconnects, every timed effect ends and the units go back to normal.

  • Classic mode has no chat banners for spawned viewers.

Uninstall

  • Select Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles in the Crowd Control app.

  • Click the trash icon next to "Mod Installed" to run the uninstaller.
