Crowd Control Setup Guides

1. Start with the App

• Open the Crowd Control Desktop App

• Select Fallout: New Vegas from the game list

• Follow the Auto Setup checklist (left side of the app)

• Auto Setup will ask you to download xNVSE 6.4.9 and point the app to the file

2. Test Before You Stream

• Load a save or start a new game first

• Effects can only be tested after pressing "Start Session" in the app

• Always test a few effects before going live

• Skipping this can lead to broken streams and confusion!

Mod Compatibility

• Our mod is an xNVSE 6.4.9 plugin

• Auto Setup installs the Crowd Control plugin for you

• Mod package: FalloutNewVegas-CC.zip

• Other xNVSE plugins should work alongside ours

• Other mods may work, but are not tested with Crowd Control

• If you have issues, try with just Crowd Control

Game Version

• Tested with the Steam version of the game (v1.4.0.525)

• No DLC required. Works with the base game and the Ultimate Edition

• Other game stores may work but have not been tested

• Want another store supported? Submit a request in our Discord, #cc-requests

Notes

• The game must be launched through the app, or with nvse_loader.exe, for the mod to load

• Effects only run during active gameplay. Effects used at the main menu are refunded automatically

Uninstall

• In the CC desktop app, select your game

• Click the trash icon next to "Mod Installed" to run the uninstaller

• xNVSE is left installed, since other mods may use it
