Crowd Control Setup Guides

1. Start with the App

• Open the Crowd Control Desktop App

• Select The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Dusklight) from the game list

• Follow the Auto Setup checklist (left side of the app)

• You will need to obtain Dusklight on your own.

• When ask for a game path, select your install folder. This is where dusklight.exe lives.

2. Test Before You Stream

• Effects can only be tested after pressing "Start Session" in the app

• Always test a few effects before going live

• Skipping this can lead to broken streams and confusion!

Prerequisite: Dusklight

• You need Dusklight installed and launching into your own game dump

• Follow the official Dusklight setup first: twilitrealm.dev/install

• Get the game running on its own before adding Crowd Control

Mod Compatibility

• Our mod ships as a Dusklight .dusk bundle (Crowd Control mod 1.0.2)

• Other mods may work, but are not tested with Crowd Control

• If you have issues, try with just Crowd Control

Game Version

• Tested with Dusklight v2.0.3 on Windows

• The mod can be enabled and disabled in the in-game Mods window while the game is running. No restart needed.

Common Issues

• Effects come back "not right now". The mod declines while Link is not in normal control: a cutscene, a load, the title screen, or a dead Link. It clears on its own once you are back in the world.

Notes

• Nothing in the mod is permanent. Effects that take an item away put it back when they end.

• Every effect the mod receives is logged in the in-game console, with the result at the end.

Uninstall

• In the CC desktop app, select your game

• Click the trash icon next to "Mod Installed" to run the uninstaller
