The mod is large (about 6 GB). Let the Steam download finish before launching the game.
Copy the
crowd_controlfolder from the pack zip into your Black Ops III mods folder so it ends up atCall of Duty Black Ops III\mods\zm_crowdcontrol\crowd_control\. The pack injects its native helper from this folder.Start Black Ops III and open the Mods menu.
Load CrowdControl Zombies from the list. If you also see a
zm_crowdcontrolentry, leave it alone. That is the Crowd Control helper folder, not a mod you can play. After enabled, the top right of the game should show:
You need to enable the mod every time you launch the game!
3. Test Before You Stream
You can only test effects after pressing "Start Session" in the Crowd Control app.
Use Launch Game in the CC app, then start a Solo or Private Zombies match with CrowdControl Zombies enabled.
Always test a simple effect like Give 1,000 Points before going live to confirm effects trigger as expected.
Run the CC app and the game at the same privilege level. Either run both as administrator or neither.
Skipping this step can lead to broken streams and confusion!
Mod Compatibility
This pack requires the Steam Workshop mod CrowdControl Zombies to be subscribed and enabled.
Other mods may conflict and have not been tested with Crowd Control.
All official Zombies maps work except Revelations, which disconnects with this mod enabled.
Maps built on the T7 framework or popular mod frameworks like UEM or AAE generally will not work.
If you have issues, try with just Crowd Control.
Game Version
The full version of Call of Duty: Black Ops III is required. The free Multiplayer Starter Pack does not include Zombies mode or mod support and will not work.
Our support has been tested with the Steam version of Call of Duty: Black Ops III. Other game stores may work but have not been tested.
Zombies support covers Solo and Private matches only. Multiplayer is not supported.
Troubleshooting
“Connector Error” after starting a match: you may need to reselect BlackOps3 from the game list, which reloads the connector.
