How to use Crowd Control With Twitch Channel Points

Crowd Control lets your viewers send effects like interactive puzzles, jumpscares, and even in-game events or keyboard actions: no matter where or what you stream.

Twitch streamers have access to additional settings that enable viewers to redeem coins or trigger effects using their Channel Points.

Redeeming Coins using Channel Points

Through the Coins Config page in the Crowd Control App, you can enable Twitch Channel Rewards, letting your viewers to exchange their Channel Points for Crowd Control Coins.

However, to tweak the exchange rate, you’ll need to be a Crowd Control Pro/Max Subscriber.

Triggering Effects using Channel Points

To add an effect as a channel reward, navigate to the Effect Manager and select the Channel Points Effect Source on the left-hand side.

Add a new effect and set the usual settings you would for any other Channel Reward like the limits and color.

You’ll be able to set up 3 for free, but 12 with Crowd Control Pro, or up to 50 with Crowd Control Max (Twitch has a maximum of 50 Channel Rewards, and you would need every slot free for Crowd Control to be able to enable them during your stream).

After you start a session, all the Channel Rewards will be automatically added to your stream and removed when the session concludes. It’s important to note that editing these Channel Rewards on your Twitch Creator Dashboard may break them, so lways ensure to make edits in Crowd Control’s Effect Manager.
