How to Fundraise for Charity with Crowd Control

Crowd Control isn't just for regular streams. It's also a great way to boost participation during a charity fundraiser, letting your community trigger interactive puzzles, jumpscares, or in-game effects, all in exchange for a donation.

Find a Supported Charity

The Crowd Control website lists charities on Tiltify that support the Crowd Control integration. Any Tiltify campaign tied to one of these charities can be linked directly to your Crowd Control session.

Link Your Tiltify Campaign

To connect a Tiltify campaign to Crowd Control, you'll first need its campaign ID. Log into your Tiltify campaign dashboard, open the Setup page on the left, switch to the Information tab, and copy the ID shown there.

Head to the Charity page in the Crowd Control app and paste that ID in. Confirm it's pulled up the correct campaign, and your session is linked and ready to go.

How Donations Work During a Charity Session

Once a charity session is active, viewers won't see the usual option to buy Coins through your Crowd Control interact link or the Twitch Extension. Instead, they'll see a Donate button that sends them straight to your Tiltify campaign.

This button is what connects the donation to Crowd Control, so viewers need to donate through it specifically to receive Coins in exchange for their contribution. A donation made elsewhere on your Tiltify page, outside that button, won't trigger the Coin exchange.
