Crowd Control has evolved quite a bit over the past few weeks. Viewers can now do a lot more than trigger jumpscares, puzzles, and in-game events, they can take control of your emulator, Stream Deck, mouse, and even your keyboard directly.
Alongside these new interaction types, the Effect Manager got a full redesign.
What's New in the Effect Manager
The Effect Manager has a new look and a set of features built to make managing large effect libraries easier:
Multi-category filtering Filter by more than one category at once instead of digging through effects one filter at a time.
New sorting options Sort your effects by name, cost, or the newly added morality value.
Morality values Every effect now carries a morality rating that shows how helpful or harmful it is. On the new website, hovering over an effect shows its rating on a simple color scale: green for great, blue for fine, yellow for a bit shady, and red for downright evil.
Redesigned effect sources Effect sources now have a more visual layout, with room built in for future updates as Crowd Control keeps expanding.

Managing Your Setup Stays the Same
Even with the new look, the core management tools you're used to are all still there. Import or export your effect menus, save them as in-app presets, or reset everything back to default whenever you need to.
What's Next for Keyboard and Mouse Control
Giving viewers control over your keyboard, mouse, Stream Deck, and emulator opens up a much wider range of interactive possibilities than jumpscares and puzzles alone. Expect more on how to set these up in upcoming guides.
